Broomfield swimming pool

Tell me about the swimming pool at Broomgrove school please. I know that it is outside. I know that it has just re-opened. I know that it is not open to the public.

What's the length? How long has it been there? Has it ever been open to the public? Any scope for this in the future? Or is it literally a (worthy) duck pond for young kids to learn to swim in?

I heard a VERY interesting twist on the Broad Lane Future Mr X story earlier today btw. Deal not as dead as we first thought...

Saw it today. It's less than a meter deep and is outside.

More of a learner pool for kids.

Aha - and less than an hour after the original post, an image arrives via Lee Pugh - ta :)

What I thought - a worthy teaching pool. Best build that pool back at Broad Lane then...

Plus nice little round up in The Gazette over here. Good work, WivSoc, with the donation.
